Meet the Team

Mr. Douglas A. Cooper serves as the Executive Director of Career Development and Engagement at Morehouse College. Mr. Cooper came to Morehouse College after spending 4 years with Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business where he was the Director of Career Services. His responsibilities at Morehouse College focus on preparing all students for successful careers in professional life and assisting those who are planning on post-graduate education. In addition, Mr. Cooper plays a key role in developing corporate, non – profit and entrepreneurial opportunities for students. He is also focused on developing graduate / professional school relationships domestically and abroad and works to raise the funds necessary to help facilitate these efforts. Prior to his tenure with Emory University, Mr. Cooper was the Director of Career Placement with The Atlanta University Center Consortium.

Douglas earned undergraduate degrees in Economics and Psychology from Lehman College at the City University of New York and pursued his MBA Studies in Strategic Management at The Lubin School of Business at Pace University in New York.

Dr. Priscilla M. Hubbard is the Assistant Director of Career Services and Career Data Management at the prestigious Morehouse College, in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Hubbard is originally from Virginia and has been in higher education and the non-profit industry in the Atlanta area for over 25 years in the areas of admissions, event management, institutional advancement, marketing and communications, student services, student conduct, Title IX investigation, career services, board administration, marketing, professional branding, and strategic fundraising.

Dr. Hubbard’s passion is to continue to serve in higher education, focusing on assisting students to excel towards excellence in improving their overall personal and professional well-being. Dr. Hubbard is the proud mother of one son and three grandchildren.

Maisha is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Maisha completed her undergraduate studies at Georgia State University, majoring in Sociology. Subsequently, she earned a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Central Michigan University. After graduating, Maisha commenced her career at the YMCA Early Learning Centers as an Executive Assistant to the President of Early Learning. This role fostered her passion for nurturing and guiding children.

Since October 2023, Maisha has been an integral part of Morehouse College. Outside of her professional commitments, Ms. Cullins finds joy in traveling, quality time with her family, and maintaining an active lifestyle. She also dedicates her weekends to mentoring young girls through the Girl Scouts program, aiming to empower them to contribute to society positively.

Caleb Smith is an Atlanta native, student success professional, and creative strategist dedicated to empowering students through education, storytelling, and community impact. He currently serves as a Recruitment Coordinator within the Office of Career Development and Engagement at Morehouse College, where he is committed to supporting student growth, career readiness, and holistic success. Caleb earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with a minor in African-American Studies, from Georgia State University’s Honors College, graduating with Honors Distinction. During his undergraduate career, he was deeply engaged in academic innovation and media leadership, serving as a Content Strategist for the Honors Office of National Scholarships & Fellowships and the Student Innovation Fellowship Program (SIF). He also served as the Executive Editor of the Georgia State University newspaper, The Signal, for the Podcast & Creative Media Department. His work in journalism and storytelling earned a nomination for the Associated Press “Undergraduate Story of the Year,” highlighting his ability to craft impactful narratives that bridge culture, history, and contemporary issues.

In his senior year, Caleb expanded his global perspective through a study-abroad experience at the University of Havana in Cuba, where he examined the intersections of African heritage, media representation, and narrative shaping across the African Diaspora. This experience further informed his passion for authentic storytelling and equitable representation.

Following graduation, Caleb founded 3 Milli Productions, a respected Atlanta-based creative hub, production studio, and event space. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a dynamic platform for storytelling, media production, and community-centered programming, earning Powerhost status on Peerspace and recognition for excellence in creative experiences.

Beyond his professional work, Caleb is dedicated to mentorship and youth development. He serves as a mentor with the Young Kings Program, where he teaches young men the importance of Black history, media literacy, and the power of representation. He also collaborates with the APEX Museum on creative media initiatives that engage and educate audiences worldwide.

Caleb is currently pursuing his Master of Public Administration at Clark Atlanta University on a full academic scholarship, with a concentration in Public Policy. He plans to continue his academic journey by pursuing a Ph.D. in Political Science, with aspirations to influence policy, leadership, and community development on a broader scale.

Driven by purpose, Caleb’s mission is to inspire, educate, and empower communities by amplifying authentic narratives, cultivating opportunity, and building pathways for the next generation to lead, create, and thrive.

In his free time, Caleb enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, staying active through fitness, listening to jazz, following sports, and exploring history through books and documentaries.

A native of Atlanta, GA, Destini graduated from Florida State University double majoring in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Digital Media Studies, and a second degree in Theatre B.A. During her undergraduate coursework, Destini worked in administrative roles at FSU University Housing, interned in digital media marketing at the Red Hills Motion Picture Releasing Company, and worked as a production assistant for FSU’s Sports Production Team, Radio Station, Graduation, Musical and Live Presentations for broadcast. Upon graduating, Destini relocated to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. There she garnered an internship with the Disney College Program and also received training in professional career development. Later she obtained roles at CBS Televison Studios in guest relations and as an audience coordinator for TV/Game Shows. She also worked as a receptionist at CBS Corporate Office handling studio office business affairs. Through her diverse experiences in the communication realm, Destini has always been passionate about serving students and providing resources for their success, especially for underrepresented talent. She looks forward to continuing Morehouse College’s Legacy and supporting the success of students careers and beyond. Destini also enjoys to go hiking, bingeing TV shows, dancing and listening to music!
