Executive Director

Mr. Douglas A. Cooper serves as the Executive Director of Career Development and Engagement at Morehouse College. Mr. Cooper came to Morehouse College after spending 4 years with Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business where he was the Director of Career Services. His responsibilities at Morehouse College focus on preparing all students for successful careers in professional life and assisting those who are planning on post-graduate education. In addition, Mr. Cooper plays a key role in developing corporate, non – profit and entrepreneurial opportunities for students. He is also focused on developing graduate / professional school relationships domestically and abroad and works to raise the funds necessary to help facilitate these efforts. Prior to his tenure with Emory University, Mr. Cooper was the Director of Career Placement with The Atlanta University Center Consortium.
Douglas earned undergraduate degrees in Economics and Psychology from Lehman College at the City University of New York and pursued his MBA Studies in Strategic Management at The Lubin School of Business at Pace University in New York.
Priscilla Hubbard, DBA, MBA - Morehouse College
Assistant Director & Career Data Management

Dr. Priscilla M. Hubbard is the Assistant Director of Career Services and Career Data Management at the prestigious Morehouse College, in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Hubbard is originally from Virginia and has been in higher education and the non-profit industry in the Atlanta area for over 25 years in the areas of admissions, event management, institutional advancement, marketing and communications, student services, student conduct, Title IX investigation, career services, board administration, marketing, professional branding, and strategic fundraising.

Mecca Holts-Caldera | Morehouse College
Recruiting Coordinator

A native of Los Angeles, CA, Mrs. Caldera graduated from California Lutheran University (C.L.U.) in 2017 with B.A. in Political Science (Emphasis in Law and Public Policy) and a minor in Business Administration. Her initial career goals included attending law school and practicing criminal law after completing several internships in local government and law enforcement. During her undergraduate coursework, Mrs. Caldera consistently worked in administrative roles for both C.L.U. and Moorpark College. Upon graduating college, she decided to follow her love of student services into various capacities at the Southern California Health Institute, the Institute for American Universities, and the United Education Institute where she organized international program logistics, oversaw externship placement and completion across several trade programs, created numerous professional development workshops, grew and nurtured employer relationships, and maintained high job placement numbers. Mrs. Caldera has been with Morehouse College since November 2021, and has always been drawn to Morehouse’s legacy and commitments to excellence and service. When she isn’t working with students, Mrs. Caldera loves to travel, read, and spend time with her family.

Administrative Assistant II

A native of Atlanta, GA, Destini graduated from Florida State University double majoring in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Digital Media Studies, and a second degree in Theatre B.A. During her undergraduate coursework, Destini worked in administrative roles at FSU University Housing, interned in digital media marketing at the Red Hills Motion Picture Releasing Company, and worked as a production assistant for FSU’s Sports Production Team, Radio Station, Graduation, Musical and Live Presentations for broadcast. Upon graduating, Destini relocated to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. There she garnered an internship with the Disney College Program and also received training in professional career development. Later she obtained roles at CBS Televison Studios in guest relations and as an audience coordinator for TV/Game Shows. She also worked as a receptionist at CBS Corporate Office handling studio office business affairs. Through her diverse experiences in the communication realm, Destini has always been passionate about serving students and providing resources for their success, especially for underrepresented talent. She looks forward to continuing Morehouse College’s Legacy and supporting the success of students careers and beyond. Destini also enjoys to go hiking, bingeing TV shows, dancing and listening to music!
