Analyze the cultural, political, economic and infrastructure development in Japan before and after WWll with particular focus on the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki as a benchmark. In addition, reflect on and document your understanding of Japan’s reasoning for attacking the United States at Pearl Harbor and consider the confinement of Japanese American citizens in U.S. internment camps during that period.  What, if any similarities exist between that period and the current debates about immigration in the U.S. and global conflicts abroad?
