>> My name is Amy Gregory [assumed spelling] and I am an executive team leader at Target in Coryville [assumed spelling]. I'm over the human resources department for that store. So I'm a department manager, and I have managers under me, and then there's employees under that. So as human resources I only have one employee reporting to me, but depending on your area, you could have anywhere from 50 to 100 employees reporting to you with several managers under that. And we report directly to the store manager. So a day at Target is always different, that's why it's exciting. A typical HR day would be come in, look at my emails. Head to the sales floor and check on the team members. See how they're doing for the day. Catch up with the other executives in the building to see what their plans are and make sure everyone's on track for what we have to do. If it's a Wednesday I'm going to write a schedule. If it's Monday, I'm going to process payroll. And depending on what the store needs are, I may be hiring people that day. It's just always different. Human resources probably is mostly behind the scenes compared to all the other departments in this store, but I say 60 to 7-- 70 percent of my job is on the sales floor.
