Spring Break 2026: Morehouse International Spring Tour – Buenos Aires, Argentina & Salvador, Brazil

Program Description

Morehouse College is pleased to announce its 2026 Annual International Spring Tour. This marks the 37th Annual event, which has traveled to every continent of the world except Antarctica. A select group of the College’s best students, accompanied by faculty and staff members, will travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Salvador, Brazil.

The Annual International Spring Tour is an international travel experience, which offers sixteen to twenty Morehouse College students exposure to no less than two foreign countries, cultures and leadership styles.  Morehouse College has set out to enhance classroom education by adding outside-of-the-classroom experiences. Exposing as many students as possible to international travel, international business decisions, international political decisions, international education and international cultures, Morehouse College has made significant strides in accomplishing these goals.

The 2026 Program Dates are March 6 – March 14, 2026.

Eligibility

• Any Morehouse full-time, traditional student in his junior or senior year of study, meeting satisfactory academic progress toward graduation.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be in good academic, financial, and disciplinary standing, and making a contribution to your department and/or Morehouse College.
• Have a current passport valid up to 6 months beyond the travel return date (September 2026)
• A recommendation letter from two (2) faculty members in one of the four academic Divisions which are as follows:   1) Humanities, Social Sciences, Media and Arts (HSSMA) 2) Business Administration and Economics (BE). 3) Professional and Continuing Studies (PCS). 4) Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
• Completion of all application requirements, including the submission of a 15 page research paper (additional details are located under the How to Apply tab).
• Completion of all OIE application tasks and clearance requirements.
