Looking to deepen your research skills while exploring careers in public policy? The University of Michigan’s ASPIRE Program offers a fully funded, eight-week summer internship designed for rising juniors and seniors from Spelman College and Morehouse College who are interested in applied social policy research.
Running from June 1 to July 26, 2026, ASPIRE provides hands-on experience in quantitative social science research while connecting students with faculty, researchers, and peers at the University of Michigan. Participants strengthen their data and statistics skills, explore real-world policy questions, and gain exposure to career paths in public policy research.
