⚖️ What You’ll Gain
Interns will work at the firm’s Atlanta or Douglasville, Georgia offices and may be eligible for academic credit (with school approval). The program includes:
- Legal Careers Exploration:Â Sit down with attorneys and other legal professionals to hear firsthand about career paths in law.
- Courtroom Experience:Â Visit local courts, observe trials and hearings, and attend workshops on courtroom roles and etiquette.
- Legal Research & Writing:Â Learn how to draft documents, conduct research, and sharpen your writing skills.
- Law School Prep:Â Gain insight into the law school admissions process, LSAT prep, and even visit local law schools.
- Professional Development:Â Build your resume, refine your interview skills, and practice professional communication.
- Real-World Office Tasks:Â Assist with organizing case files, preparing documents for court, and more.
- Networking Opportunities:Â Attend events with legal professionals and connect with peers pursuing similar goals.
- Final Presentation: Wrap up your internship by creating and presenting a digital portfolio that showcases what you’ve learned.
